In doing my best to deal with the fact that the elk season fast approaches and I can't hunt this year, I'm back onto the forums to live vicariously. Would like a change of scenery for '18 and the area SE of Hermosa LOOKS beautiful...but does it hold any big stinkys??? I'm getting too damn old for the deep and steep but...(you can lie to me if ya want to)...but that's sure pretty country...it's GOTT'A have a legal bull or two even with all those roads!? I just LOVE SW Colorado in the Fall....prettiest place on Earth! AND some of the nicest people you'd EVER want to meet out there !

Hermosa is good at times. Big country, and yes sir, beautiful. We used to come over from the Rico side on horses with hunters, seen some good bulls way up high. It's a good area, at times overran by other hunters though.
