I have a SPOT Gen 3 and since SPOT raised their subscription price, I decided to cancel mine...and, give the device away. If you want it, PM me. To pick it up, I live in the NW Denver area.

I am going with the InReach. For me, it made more sense as I only use the device one month a year and can get a monthly rate from InReach. I had no performance issues with the SPOT; just an annual agreement at $200!

Before you go to the InReach, do a little homework on their billing policies and customer service. I've been researching them but have been a little put off by what I've read...
