My wife is from Oklahoma and her best friend in Oklahoma wants a whitetail rack to make some kind of a lamp or something. I was going to send her one from the ones I have just laying around. My question is - is it legal to send one threw the post office? I am not selling it to her just giving it to her - with all the laws anymore thought I better check before trying to mail it half way across the country. Thanks for any info! Yeah I am going to contact DNR as well.

I'm not an expert, but if I was doing that, I would include a legal game checking tag along with the antlers. That would show that the antlers were legally harvested. That being said, I am sure the DNR can direct you on the proper/legal way to mail the antlers.

I don't have that trouble JayD. I can mail my antlers in a regular envelope and they think its just a pencil or something. Those Pendleton county spikes don't take up much room In an envelope. :)
