At first glance I thought cat. But the tail is way too long. This is the only pic. I know it's crappy quality. This is in Pierce county on private land. I feel kind of dumb starting one of these threads but it's really bugging me.

We have a lot of fisher's up here. I have been run off bear baits by them. I have never seen one that was grey.

I believe I had the same type of animal come to my bear bait last week. I thought it wasn't a Fisher because the Fishers I have seen all had very bushy tails. Someone who saw my photo commented that it was a Mink. I sent the photo to the Price county biologist, and he said he is almost sure it is a Fisher.

Trapper, have you ever seen a gray colored Fisher? I see a lot of Fisher's here in Chippewa county also. But have never seen one that was gray.

This critter was on one of my bear baits a few days ago. I was wondering what this was. I was thinking mink but now I know.
