any suggestions on a qaulity bore sight? ive had people tell me, that the ones with that rubber piece is not accuarate. (.50 cal) cva.

just make sure it actually does 50 cal I have 2 bore sights both only go up to 45 cal. you can rap a little tape around them to make then work, but its not perfect. on a muzzle loader take the plug out and just look threw the bore and you will be just fine to start. I like Larry Potterfields videos.he's the guy from midway usa. he makes it look easy. but it works in two shots just like he says it will.

hey thanks. i will try both, as i was having quite a time and dont really have good spots to shoot,as i am on cape.

I wouldn't waste the money. Go to the range take a shot and adjust the scope from there. I'm usually damn close by 3 shots so not much money wasted on bullets and powder. It's also good to learn just how many clicks it takes to get you to the bullseye. JMHO
