I've been waiting to hear what the commission decided. Finally looked hard enough at the GFP page, followed the audio of the meeting topic and learned none for this year. Forage is better in Hills than expected for being so dry. Also listened about the deer tag allotment and what is happening with it. No changes likely til the 2019 season. Maybe some additional antlerless elk tags in Custer State Park late this fall or early winter due to high percentage of CWD in an area. Not so much a population measure as much as a disease control thing.
