Northern zone opener?

I am not sure I have ever sat out a NZ opening weekend but I think I might sit this one out. There is nothing to get excited about on my cameras yet.
I think I will chase walleyes for a little while longer.

I'm probably not hunting until October 16th or 17th. This weekend my wife and I are glamping (motorhome camping) on Lake Ontario at Lakeview State Park. We leave for Walt Disney World on October 5th and return October 12th. Then we are glamping once again at Darien Lake State Park on October 13, 14 and 15.

Went out this AM.Temp was 62 with 85 high expected!I heard one snort a couple times in the distance.But I didnt see anything.I'll sit another stand this evening.Beat's sitting home watching tv.

I'll be in the Moose River Plains this week end. The low Saturday night is expected to be in the low 30's. With daily highs in the low 60's.

We just snapped cold today in 7H, last few days were upper 80s daytime, mid 60's at night. Today it's 58, and sinking to 40's tonight. 'Should help a tad : -)
