I retired from the Army in April 2017, I just want to say thanks to my brothers and sisters in arms, those that came before me and those that will come after. Its a tremendous responsibility to raise that right hand and vow to serve. To those we have lost you will never be forgot and to those that still live my family gives many thanks to you and yours.

Just got back from sharing lunch with my 4th grade grandson. The school had their Veterans Day celebration today and he got to sing. A lot of Vets in attendance. Thanks all for your service. I've been thinking of those that didn't make it back. I thank God that I did. Semper Fi - Tom

Last year my 18 year old grandson said his group at hi school talked mostly about what college or job they. Would attend. I told him my grad class ( 1965 ) talked about which military we would join because as a citizen it was required. I expect no attaboys for doing my job as required . But I do hand out attaboys to those who have served in the non draft era .

Ata boys are in deed deserved! Serving despite a choice is just as honorable as volunteering to serve no one should ever think otherwise in my humble opinion. Thank you for your service!! Without your sacrifices mine wouldn't have been possible.

Tanks to all you Vets for your service that afford me the God given freedom we tend to take for granted way too often.

Two Feathers, my kid's elementary school put on a nice program honoring the vets. They sang a song about thanking vets and freedom, and danged if I didn't cry. Was a little embarrassed until I looked around at all the other big tough vets crying like a bunch of babies! Ha! Ha! Anyway, kudos to the school administration for hosting us and THANKS to all you other vets out there! Enjoy your day:)

Thank you to all our Bowsite vets. Of course thanks to all. Without people like you. We wouldn't have all the great freedoms we do.
