If you turn 65 after Jan. 1,2012 and buy an xs license for $25.00 is that required each year or a one time thing?

It is a Senior Lifetime license (one time purchase).

No need to buy if already have the lifetime license unless you want to participate in the youth seasons. The Senior license allows seniors to participate in the special youth seasons. I think it may also provide lifetime trout stamp too but I'd verify that with DNR.

The only youth season u can hunt in is the youth doe hunts. It DOES NOT include youth spring gobbler

I am. Jack.,heck imma buy a senior license now so I can gun hunt early. I'd do that except I don't gun hunt. I really need to sit down and read the regs to see what all nonsense is in there

I'll buy it just to contribute and get the trout stamp even though I haven't trout fished in years ,

Imma buy it so I can rifle hunt the early gun season with the kids and kill the big bucks before the other adults can. :)
