Take what adventure gave me?

So one of my favorite things about bow hunting is the discovery of new sections of woods. I’m in north zone 8, Farm country and I can hit a spot of woods and go 2-3 miles without hitting anything. So today at 3 I had a chance to get out after work and I semi still hunted from the opposite corner of my Farm from where I usually go. It was pretty awesome. Two big swamps with a funnel area running between two high ridges and on the western side of the funnel is this massive 3-4 year old semi clear cut. There is some really good open space but they left a lot of forest intact. Lots of acorns on the ground and plenty of deer tracks in and out. Some good oak trees nestled in with some pines for tree stand cover. So my question(s). Will deer visit an area like this clear cut, surrounded by woods, during the day? Is it too late in the season to hit up a new spot? Did I bust the spot for a few days by discovering it? Morning hunt, afternoon?

Get in there and hunt it. I like to start a new spot in the evening so I can see what is going on when going in , such as bumping deer or not. Maybe next sit will be a morning.
Not every deer that hangs out around there will be traveling the area today , that you went into , so it will be a first for some of them. Traveling bucks will move through too. Its fine , hunt it.

Sounds great - hunt it! They could be in there any time... though mostly AM PM likely.

If I was going in just based on your info, I would but the edges as PI said in afternoon first. First, I would sit a couple of yds inside the tighter woods along that clear cut. All good stuff
