Sorry not very photogenic , my a$$ was dragging - being 56 years old 1 mile back on public ground carrying a summit climber , bow and backpack plus a big deer made for a tough pack out. Then I had to skin and quarter him that night. All worth it just to have the memory of the buck chasing the doe right to me and then pulling the trigger on my release and hearing him crash seconds later ....... priceless !!

Nice Hoss, congrats. Just curious what unit you shot this buck in, as the rack configuration with the claw at the end is identical to what we see with most of the bucks where we hunt.

Congrats Hoss, great buck and well earned. I feel your pain with the mile long drags. Been there several times. Drag deer 50 yards, then carry equipment to deer and another 50 yards past and keep repeating. If I'm lucky and with my brother, one of us goes to truck to drop off gear and get the cart.

I'm not complaining I'll take it anytime . I'm dragging a good buck and all my friends are home watching football. It's primetime rut and because its cold outside they aren't hunting . They are also the ones who say they aren't seeing any deer ! Go figure.
