Cedar limb cover

My cover is blowing out of my tree in the past i have cut cedar limbs and stuck in my stands. Is there a chance this will spook deer this late in the season what about the smell

It's natural why would it spook deer? The only cover scent I ever used was packing my hunting clothes in a trash bag with fresh cut cedar limbs. Worked great. During rut I don't use anything and I have bucks walk right under me

Cedars are great, I love hanging stands in them.. keeps you hidden after the leaves have fallen and they help with scent control as well.. great for blocking wind too!
