Success with the Extinguisher Call?

I lost my caller yesterday. I picked up the Extinguisher because I had remembered some posts had said good things in the past.

However, I’m noticing it’s significantly lower in note, especially with doe bleats, than my previous caller. So, are people having success with this caller, or has my poor memory set me up for what sounds like a cross dressing buck?

I found it deep as well. Used it only for tending grunts after getting a bleat can. The combo of those brought in my big 10 this year, but I can't say it was or wasn't the call. I adjusted the doe bleat to almost full fawn to get a tone that sounded right before I went with the can. Then after a hunt I realized that the bottom half had separated and dropped on my way out. Luckily I have my old back up.
