My father in-law got his largest buck to date and would like to do a mount. Only we don't really wanna just hit the yellow pages. Can you post one that's good with a ball park price range? Thanks he lives in Clinton but will drive.
I can never post pics right :(
I can see why he wants a mount. I've used Northeast taxidermy in the past. I believe they run around $550, might be on their website. Located be off rt. 9 in Middletown
I just looked it up. $625 for a shoulder mount. There are a few other taxidermist that people have shown off here that look great also.
I use Hobby Taxidermy in Killingly she does a great job and decent price.
Oh and WOW that's a beautiful buck!
Kevin Conroy 550$ for a shoulder. What a slammer!! What town?
Kevin Conroy- Kevin’s taxidermy as stated above.
Wow, that is a bruiser of a buck! My guess he weighted in at more than 4 or 5 tubs of skippers!
Please don't skimp with a taxidermist. That's a buck of a lifetime.
I've got a few I had a "cheap" taxidermist mount and I regret it now.
I use Joe and Lowrie at Northeast.
Gene, that is f'n hilarious and oh so true. :)
