No way that deer is dressed at 215. No way. The size of his antlers to his body should tell you that. Live weight maybe 175-190. Dressed 160-175.

Night pictures always make deer look huge. He's a nice one and hope he comes around during the day so you can tell us what he actually weighs on a certified scale.

He looks like a solid 3.5 year old deer. I would say dressed 180ish. . Give him another year and he will be a slammer. And dress mid 200s.

Got one in Maine a few years back that went 180 on a certified scale this one is definitely bigger

Definitely appears to be in max insulation mode, which fluffs him up quite a bit.

Definitely a good buck; how about you tell me his height at the shoulder and then I’ll guess?

buckkiller talking about averaged dress deer like 150 lbs I think the deer we weighed ended up being that . MY friend dragged it out before the gutted it just so he could get a live weight it was like 35 years ago lol

i think we always guess high on weights. I decided to weigh a average size doe this year just for the heck of it and it dressed at 110. Takes a very big deer to dress 200lbs. Good luck getting him this season!!!

Please stop arguing weight. Deer is dead. Weight and age is not disclosed per family request as it was a female deer with antlers.

transgender very touchy subject, I can understand the family's concern.
