Well guys, I wanted to let you know what happened. My buddy got a shot at him with ML at about 60 yards just before 4pm. Thought the shot was good. We tracked him in snow for about a mile and a 1/2 into private land of a known curmudgeon and we couldn't go any further (I've talked to this curmudgeon before... he abhors hunters). The shot was obviously not as good as previously thought. Little blood here and there. Sad day for me and my buddy. Not sure I will ever see that Buck again.
