Show some love!

This is something different and a lot of great guys on this forum and I enjoy reading everyone's post. Some are good for a solid laugh and bring great color to this site. Everyone here has some great insight on topics but we all have a few guys we really pay attention to and try to soak in their knowledge as much as possible. Or whatever it is.
Name the names fellas! Show some love. Whether they post a lot or not as much. Past or present. No hurt feelings either. Your all worthy of a shoutout if you don't get one.
Trapper, smokey, cheeseheadmike, case, crusader, Jeff in min, grunter, MF, Pete pec, and groundhunter.
I'll show some love. Many of you i feel like could be a best friend or hunting parter. We share that passion and drive for deer, wildlife and the outdoors. I appreciate and respect your inputs and your stories of success, failures, and woods talk.
Cheesehead, Nocturnal, Les (wish he would post more), Trapper, Jeff MN, Mike F, MF, Crusader, Smokey, Ground hunter, RutNStrut, Bloodtrail, Pete Pec, Case. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few of you so I apologize if I did. I think we should do a winter get together where we can get the MAJORITY of the regular posters and semi-posters together. I would love to meet all you and talk deer and the woods. Of course show pictures and tell stories. LET'S MAKE THAT HAPPEN THIS WINTER.
Wait now ... they don't allow that kind of photo here - do they????
Oh there's plenty of guys on here that are great. Can't even begin to name them. You know who you's are... :-)
Even the ones that I don't necessarily see eye to eye with offer great insight and also entertainment.
Have to agree with Tweed, I have only been here for a few weeks, but seems to be a lot of knowledge, humor and the ribbing, I also enjoy reading all the comments, and agreeing with, laughing at, or wondering what the hell that person is thinking, it is why I joined.
Carl
Since it is Christmas and I'm feeling generous with my feelings:::::Nocturnal, when I think of you I think of a big football playing frat guy. It's a shame we live so close and haven't met face to face.
Tweed, I envision myself camping in your teepee and hunting your population of zero deer.
Trapper, damn bro, I wish I had a shed dog like yours.
Casekiska, I get along well with old guys so we were destined to be friends from the start.
Jeff in MN, you have some beautiful places to hunt. When I think of you I think of the pond.
Bloodtrail, one day I'm gonna see those hawks in action!
The bottom line is that I could say something nice about almost all of you and most of it would be true.
Amongst me is a group of great men and I'm thankful to be a part of it.
It would be easier for me to name who I think got a lump of coal in their stocking, rather than pick out my favorites lol. I can get along with anyone....provided they can have an intelligent conversation, are willing to listen, even when we don't agree, are not constantly negative, have a willingness to experiment, and a must for me, is a sense of humor.
I can without a doubt say this forum has made a full circle compared to a year ago. I'll admit, I stay out of conversations I have no interest in. Often times, there's nothing I can do about it, or it literally doesn't impact me. But if it's a topic that means something to me, or I have first hand experience with, I can be pretty animated lol.
Merry Christmas to my bowsite buddies!
I think we have a great group of fella's here and the interesting posts are on the increase. Less fighting, more solidarity and agreeing to disagree going on here of late.
I saw no one hating the youth hunt photo's, the gun deer photo's posted and everyone enjoyed those that were lucky enough to harvest a deer.
I am honored to be a part of this group and I wish everyone of you all the very best this upcoming Holiday season - God bless you and your families.
In closing, I cannot fail to remember Camoman76 who left us two years ago at a very young age. He LOVED this site and it's members. Although I never met him I think about him at times like this.
Peace!
Sorry guys the best poster by far is Treefarm. Maybe I just Love his way of putting things in word form. Or maybe just his vast knowledge of so many habitat subjects. Sounds like I have a bit of a man crush on you Treefarm.
treegeek, Treefarm.... Maybe you are brothers, or cousins. I saw Treefarm's piles of pine that had been harvested, huge piles and probably only 1/4th of it was on the piles when I was there.
All those mentioned above are worthy of this list. Ruger1022 is the only one that comes to mind that is not already listed. I am sure there are more that I will think of later.
Hey, CD! WHO YOU CALLING OLD!?! Oh, that's right,....me! Ha Ha Ha Ha. Merry Christmas to you too my friend, and to all my fellow Bowsiters. To all the guys mentioned above...well deserved recognition...one can only feel humbled to have been named within the group.
Just for a minute guys, stop and think about when an new thread is introduced and the comments that follow. It is sometimes amazing, the depth and breath of the responses that follow and the new perspectives that are presented. Not everyone agrees, but everyone contributes. And everyone learns. It is because of the variety of people we have here,... probably all walks of life, backgrounds, ages, and educational levels. Near to year's end I am grateful to be a small part of it all. Were it to disappear I am certain it would be missed by many. I think this WI Forum is an example of a situation where the whole is truly greater than the sum of it's parts!
It has been a good bunch on here lately again. There are only a few of us left from the beginning of the site in the 90's, it's good to see there posts still.
Great post casekiska as usual. I won’t try naming many people either because most are great in their own way. Even though I’m a plotter, I surely respect and envy the likes of Tree farm and others that shy away from the plots and hunt natural settings. Or those that hunt huge expanses of areas and figure it out like MF, upnorth, Northbound, groundhunter, Jeff and Ruger. You guys have it figured out. We are all different, but still the same. Merry Christmas from Trappers Camp.
Great thread. As has been said there are many there are many great guys on here. Even though we may disagree on things we all seem to do it respectfully. I hope you all have a very merry christmas and a wonderful 2018.
I know a few folks already, all very good people. The rest I hope to meet some time. I have to say that we have a really great bunch of people here. We all know how to pass information on and it is a really good feeling that anyone here can ask a serious question and we all contribute when we can. I feel that we can also give it to each other when we have it coming. A good conversation seems to always pull honest hard working, knowledgeable people who enjoy the same passion together. It's also good to know that we can accept when we are wrong, leave our differences on the threads and work toward achieving what we are all working toward.
I am honored to be among those I consider to be good friends and colleagues.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you and your families. Safe travels always and may 2018 bring you health, happiness, friendships, and a greater knowledge of the things we seek and love.
God Bless Us All
I have been reading Bowsite every morning for years. I rarely post on the Wisconsin forum. In the last few months, there seems to be a shift in mutual respect on this forum. I am thankful that is happening. Merry Christmas to you all.
This is my first year on here and just wanted to thank everyone for all the tips and info I picked up, it would take years to collect it on my own. Also there's some pretty good humor here and there!
I also enjoy coming on board every day and reading posts. As posted above, it would be awesome for all to come together and meet some day, I bet the comradery would be out of this world. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, be safe, God Bless and stay warm this coming week. I will be out hunting in the frigid temps of Northern Wisconsin but thinking about warmer weather!
I echo most of what was said above and enjoy hearing about all your adventures, concerns and goings on. Maybe my timing has been bad but has RedClub been posting at all, always like his posts. This site is much improved over a couple years ago at this time. Even the gun season came and went w/o much mud slinging which is great. Looking forward to 2018!
Without Neverbait, Greeenleaf, and RC this site has been pleasant. I've been viewing this site since Serb and Camo were here. Its nice to be able to visit a site that others have the same passion as I do.
Been a avid reader for years, don't post much as I am still learning how to be a successful bow hunter. I do appreciate all the tips and advice that has been shared over the years. I take a little bit from every one even if I don't agree with there view.
I've been on this site for about 6 years or so now and only posted a hand full of times. I always enjoy reading what others have been doing and managed to pick up some help full tips at the same time. Most of the guys on here are very knowledgeable and I would like to thank all of you and wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

I really enjoy every ones view on this site some more then others!! But that being said. Merry Christmas !!! And there still time to get in woods.
Lots of good guys here. Merry Christmas to you all. Have a safe and happy holiday season. Short bloodtrails.
Merry Christmas to everyone (or Happy Holidays if you prefer).
Only 3% of readers EVER post so just know that the audience you think you’re responding to is actually 33 times larger. Bowsite averaged 22,000 visits each and every day.
This is the number 1 state in the country for Whitetail entries into the record book and lots of us outsiders are on this forum every day trying to learn more about the top huntable animal in North America. Rock on Wisconsin and thanks for helping to “Make America Great Again” We badly needed your state! Merry Christmas, C
Thanks Charlie for the Wisconsin compliments... I checked out your pics... looks like you have done a little hunting in your time! LOL nice animals. Happy Holidays
I'll say it too Charlie...thanks for the compliments, nice to hear from an "outsider." The good thing is and the uniting factor is, we are all brothers of the bow. We all do not do it the same, and we have differing aspirations & goals, but in the end we all appreciate the tradition and flight of a well shot arrow. I'll end with the beginning of a famous quote all here should recognize: "So long as the new moon.....". Merry Christmas to all.
You guys all deserve recognition for sharing what you share. In a day in age like today its hard to find good people willing to help entry level people.SO I thank you all! I've learned a lot from each of you! I'm proud to be a brother of the bow and when I get my first bow harvest, I cant wait to share it with everyone! Merry Christmas ~ Wound Channel
I have learned so much from so many on this site . Even the guys that get on your NERVES . :-)
All of you! Everyone on here is passionate and committed to the sport they love, BOWHUNTING!
Thanks Charlie, that means a lot coming from you.
