Does anybody go to the WTU banquets? I see fliers all over but have never been to one. Do you guys support chapters near your hunting land vs where you live?

The only banquet that I go to anymore is the one that the Horicon Marsh Bowmen holds in late winter, the proceeds go to WBH.

I have been to one WTU banquet, I was invited by a friend. Personally, I won't spend money on raffle tickets and would much rather cook at home. I totally understand why some would enjoy them, but they're just not my cup of tea.

Before I attend any dinner, I look into the organization to see how much of a chapters money gets spent within the state and what type of projects they spend that money on.

I'm interested in what others say about these also. I remember seeing ads last year, if you bought 6 seats you got a free rifle. Seemed like a good pitch to have guys bring friends. I looked into sponsoring one but never heard back.
I've only regularly been to the PF banquet. Nice deal they offer biz who sponsor. Sounds like most monies is put back into local public lands.
Was invited to tag along at a local fish and game banquet last year. Was a huge turn out and raised a ton of money for various local projects and disabled hunts. Will for sure be on there sponsor list this year.
I go way over board on raffles I'm sure. But hey what's more American than winning guns!
