My primary goal in 2018 is to sell my hobby farm and use some of the profit to buy hunting land. This will give my children a place to hunt and God willing, carry on the hunting tradition.

I hope to stay on the right side of the dirt and be able to spend time in the woods with my son and friends. My son will be in college this year and we both know his hunting time will be very limited. I won't hunt without him there so my time will be limited too. Our time hunting (and fishing) together is precious. Now I need my daughter to find a different boyfriend who hunts and fishes.

I have a number of goals for 2018: #1) Continue to re-hab my left shoulder in the hope I will be able to shoot my bow again as a right handed archer; #2) If I fail at #1, then become a better shot as a left handed archer; #3) For the third year in a row, invite a trad archer to hunt my property (2016 Kurt shot a dandy 10 point and in 2017 Scott shot a big bodied six); #4) Build an elevated box blind for my wife's November firearms hunt; and, lastly, #5) Continue to improve the stands and their location on my property.

Actively campaign against the "representatives" to the ASSembly that have given us great things such as full inclusion and the newer age thing. Also I have had a couple of guys that never even acknowledged the communication asking a couple of simple questions. Again-My $.02-LC (not wrong just different)

LOL, Upnorth, My father in-law offered to buy us a house down there if I would move (Springfield, MO). I said thanks, but no way I'm leaving WI. I'm too used to having all the lakes, streams and woods to poke around in. Plus, I love to ice fish, pretty tough to do when there is no ice and there are only a couple lakes to fish.

and about this idea "Plant 50 2-3' cedar trees " nice of you to feed the deer, but wouldn't oats be cheaper? What sort of fence do you plan on?
