My kids are young and we just moved back to Wisconsin last year I'm looking for stuff that fellow hunters do hunting / fishing is a huge part of our life so lets hear it

Shed hunting. Take them to Wendts on the lake about 2:00 pm on February 10th to see 6 foot long Sturgeon come in to be registered. Yes they are an important enough resource that everyone of them still gets weighed and measured.

Usually take the girls on a hike and have a little fire to make some tea.
No go this year though...too cold with the wind chill.
Got a couple rabbits. While dressing and butchering them everything was freezing instantly.

Chief - many communities have a polar bear plunge. Even if you don't get wet it's still fun to watch.
