Medfield

Anybody know about hunting in Medfield? Aside from the state property, I am wondering about private property. They have a no-discharge regulation pertaining to guns and bows "drawn, held, or fired by mechanical means." Are they trying to describe crossbows? What's the deal? Called police department, they didn't know, and referred me to town hall. Called town hall, they didn't know, and referred me to the police department.

Just get you a bow to shoot with your fingers and you can’t go wrong. But on the other hand I’m sure not a single cop will bother you with the compound and release aid.

I know of at least 4 guys that hunt private property in medfield. They do pretty well too. I've asked around in medfield but never got a yes . Not sure what that law is all about, but if the police and the town clerk don't know about it I think you'll be all set.
