Looks like he intended to use the harness .... Is 50 too young for a heart attack?

DoorKnob, don't get too close to me. I had 3 close friends or acquaintances that were between 48 and 52 that died from heart attacks. Also 1 that fell out of a tree at 30.

It's not the model...it's the miles

No, 50 isn't too young for a heart attack or anything else. You never know when your time is up. Very tragic.

Hard to say how he died. The fall or a heart attack.

I treated a 43 year old coworker that was having a heart attack till EMS arrived and took over. I would say 50 is a prime age for clogged arteries and such.

50 is definitely not too young for a heart attack. I'm 46 and thought my time was up today. Spent 5 hours in the ER tests came back negative for a heart attack. But I'm back at 7:30 tomorrow A.M. fr another battery of tests. Regardless of the results I was scared and will be making huge life changes.

"Hard to say how he died. The fall or a heart attack."

Or hypothermia.

Good luck Rut. Less stress = no more bowsite... 8^) BTW - not too much is needed each day to turn things around. Little healthier food/alcohol choices + little more exercise = lot more healthy.

I was 50 when during a bicycle race I started having some heart issues. Subsided briefly but went to the ER when they returned. Many tests and Doctors showed not a heart attack but something they cannot at this time do anything unless it gets worse. So far ( I am 64) it has not been much except once two years ago. I have been told to see a specialist in a field regarding some heart trouble, I may not have seen the correct people. The problem is, my insurance refused to pay any of my bills. Not one cent! I was left with the bills. They said I need preapproval for everything. I said I thought that I was having a heart attack. e reply was " it shows that you were not. I have better insurance now but worry that this might happen again and with the out of pocket expenses, I can't afford anything done anyway. Make sure you have good insurance.
