First year without a buck in 20 years

Gentlemen, this is the first year since I started hunting 20 years ago that I haven't harvested a buck. I can usually rely on ole faithful (Texas) to get one, but all,I saw were young ones. Its humbling but also a great feeling knowing mother nature can kick you in the ass! I did manage to take a turkey and a few hogs, which taste great btw, on my trip. So at least I have some meat!

That's quite a run, awalk. And, the only reason you did get a buck is because you let some smaller ones walk. I think there must be a deer hunting "mulligan" for that.

Always great to be outdoors. And you got it, hogs in Texas. To many hogs haha.
