If I am reading this correctly it is a bow sight and rangfinder in one for $800 to $1000. That is not much different from the cost of a top class range finder and bow sight together.

From my read it projects a single dot like a red dot gun sight but the pin compensates for distance and illuminates at the correct place in the sight for your desired distance up to 100yrds. Pretty cool. I do wonder how it calculates arrow drop for different arrows. You must have to calibrate it for your individual arrow. I like the idea a lot. Asy eyes have aged I have had to go from iron sights to red dots and scopes for my rifles. I have missed a few because I used the wrong pin but hardly a game changer. I shoot 70lbs and if I wasn't so lazy I could set up two pins to cover all distances I would take a lot at a deer.

Just remember, the more complicated your bow becomes the more things can go wrong. I'm all for good shot placement and shooting form, but I'm thinking gadgets like this will keep guys off the practice range and result in more poor shots, not less. That, and I'm cheap!! :)

Ace - thanks for the video, and yes, that thing is pretty cool, but to me, it turns my bow into a rifle. JMHO

That's a neat sight. I'm not sure I would or would not. If I could get it for 350-400 bucks, maybe. For 800-1000, nope. But, if it makes it the next couple years, I could see the technology getting it down in price. Wonder how heavy it would be etc?

Also how delicate and if satellite reception is poor how does that impact the functionality?

As more of a stick-shooter, there’s something about an “archery” gadget that’s dependent on a satellite signal that’s just SO messed up....

Just like range finders I wonder how often it ranges a branch instead of the deer....especially if you are shooting through a window of branches cover....same goes for shooting through mesh in a blind....

what Jax said....but looks awesome. I see this being the next big thing in the next few years

Whatever.... but if you buy one, you forfeit any right to complain about crossbows in Archery seasons...
