Anybody out there with some experience with chronograph ?. The Caldwell G2 to be exact.Mine seems to be inconsistent. One session the shots seem to all be close the next there's a range of 6 or 8 fps. I have the crono lights on, in a room with light sooo ... It's just so frustrating !.

Commercial Chronographs are fickle....period. Lighting, temperature, electrical current, distance between the "Gates" , reflectivity of the light shades, angle of the shot, arrow flex, shaft diameter and fletching configuration can all have slight effects. Best to set up the chrono in one spot, at one height, and do not assemble/disassemble every time you use it. Let it warm up a bit as well.......plug in and let sit for a half an hour. Most are only guaranteed within 3%.......but they can give you a good baseline.
