Good news on your surgery, captain. Do everything your docs tell you to do... in just 8 short weeks you'll be your new self and ready to bag some turkeys.

I also Just had back surgery in January. The sciatica pain in my leg was miserable. It has gotten a lot better, but did take just about a month. Good luck!

Glad to hear things went well with your procedure Cap. I lost my best friend on 11-11-11- and still miss him. It gets easier but, I think about him often. I hope you will be out hunting thunder chickens this spring.

Go slow. Takes longer to heal when you’re passed that thirty something age. You picked a good time to take of it. You’ll be good to go come October

Keep healing well Captain! It takes time... and the emotional scars longer than the physical ones. Rest up.
