Related to the “quality boots” entry, but somewhat different: I am able to sneak out before work many days, but I have fairly little time. So I wear galoshes—boots that go on over my shoes. One way I save myself a minute or so, makes it easier to go straight from the woods to work. Looks pretty stupid, but I don’t care. Finally this past year I found a good brand of these: called “TREDZ,” available on Amazon. Not too heavy, sufficiently durable, and remarkably inexpensive. I recommend checking them out.
