What do you think of second buck rule for some countries. If you kill a buck with a bow you have to kill a doe before you can take a second buck.Meaning you have to take doe before you can shoot before you take your first buck in rifle season.

I like it , however i can see SOME hunters tel checking a doe they didnt kill . So they can hunt that second buck.

I have no problem with the rule, but it cost me the buck of a lifetime a couple years ago.
I was faced with a choice, shoot the largest antlered buck I’d ever seen while bowhunting and check in a “phantom doe”, OR pass on him at 15 yards. I chose to pass and be honest. (Talk about temptation!)
