It just arrived in the mail today. Okay, that thing is just awesome. Going to much easier than shimmying up a four inch tree with saw in my mouth so I can cut some branches about twelve feet up. Yup, that was my previous method :)

Seems really well made and it will fit into my pack.

Love mine too Peter. I do like my Wicked Tree Saw hand saw better. It's bomb proof... But, it's a hand saw. With the hooeyman, I can stretch it to 6 feet or there abouts and nip those annoying branches when in a new tree for an evening hunt. It's a super tool.

Be very careful with it! You need to baby it. They are awesome to use but they are not durable at all. After going through 2 of them in 3 years, I will not purchase another one.

BB, it is this one. https://www.amazon.com/Hooyman-655227-Extendable-Lanyard-Trimming/dp/B003DQTRJS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519767949&sr=8-1&keywords=hooyman+extendable+saw

I hope it holds up. I really hated walking into the woods in areas where I could bump into walkers with the heavy duty 8foot long telescoping pole saw. Always felt like I had to hide it when I would hear voices in the distance. Thats why I usually just climb the small trees and use the hand saw. The blade on the hooyman is spectacular. Cuts nice. Extends to 10 feet and packs down to 28 inches. Will come in handy when getting to stand height and I need to clear some pesky branches.
