While I know this is a bow site many of us long gun hunt as well. I see the current attack by retailers and the legislative push to move the age to 21 to buy rifles a long term death nail to hunting in CT, While we use bows we also need to stand up for hunting. Connecticut supports junior hunting days for ages 12 to 15 and hunting for 16 to 17 year olds. Once you turn 18 and an adult you will not be able to purchase your own firearm to hunt in Connecticut anymore. I know many of the people on this site spend time mentoring and training the youth to be good ethical hunters. Lets make sure their long term right to join us and be our future is not compromised or taken away by ignorant senators! [email protected]

I just emailed the DEEP and asked for the head of DEEP to contact the senators, and CT delegation to fight for Connecticut hunters. We need our voice heard and we need to blow up their email box.
