Well, that right there is some really bad news. Ugh. Some pharma company has to figure out a pesticide that's reasonably environmentally sensitive but kills ticks, and could be some how sprayed or distributed or something. Ugh.

Proline, this is currently the number 1 killer of moose calves in Western Maine. Specifically the Moosehead area in zone 8, interesting article on it in the North Woods journal. Some crazy death rate like over 50% for the calves. Ticks suck the blood out and then calves can't thermally sustain body temperature.
