Looking to frost seed clover. Looking for uncoated clover seed somewhere near Neenah/Appleton. Anyone have a suggestion?

greenville coop is where I get mine. I would call them to see if they have the seed in yet. Otherwise The reel shot carries grandpa rays products and they should have clover.

Just curious, for sake of discussion- why type of clover and why?

The grandpa ray dealers (reel shot) can get you strait varieties of clover too if you want one in particular rather than a mix.. otherwise welters seed has a great online catalog, can order most by the pound and shipping is more reasonable than a drive to town anyways. Fleet Farm has their own b.o.b. brand now which is reasonable if your planting small acreage.

Why clover? Clover frost seeds well because it is small and germinates a low temp. A coated seed is obviously larger then uncoated and so does't fall in the the cracks caused by the freeze thaw cycle.

I will be stopping at Larsen Coop in New London on my way from Neenah to the lease in Waupaca. I might stop at the Greenville coop.
