Hopefully this doesn't come across the wrong way....
I was shed hunting public land and found a Moultrie trail cam face down in the mud on a trail. It looks like someone had already taken it and pulled the chip because the cover was unlatched. Is there a decent way to find/prove ownership so I can get it back to the rightful owner? I do not need any bad karma because I have enough problems harvesting as it is. This was in Central IL.

Contact Moultrie. If the owner registered it they will be able to identify from the serial number
