Unit 58 WTD Hunt

Hi everyone, I got lucky and pulled a Unit 58 WTD tag for December. Can anyone give me any information about the unit? i.e. where to start looking or what to expect.

That is going to be a really tough hunt as very few white-tails live in the area. I would focus around any ag fields and thickly vegetated draws or crp fields.

I would try to get access of the dry cimmaron highway on some private. There are some on the river on irrigated fields. Not a lot though

Thanks for all the info. I know it is not gonna be a gimme hunt, but I am excited since I've seen several large bucks come out of that unit.
Luckily it is a rifle hunt, so I have an advantage there.
