Hey All. Was fortunate enough to draw an S26/S70 archery sheep tag. It's a new draw, but does anyone have any info on where I should start. It's pretty much my backyard, but with the knowledge of everyone on here I'm sure I can get a little info. Looking for any suggestions about who to talk to, where to start looking, or really anything. Thanks in advance.

Its not a new draw, they just started issuing tags again after the major die-off of the sheep from lung issues. My Father-in-law killed his last ram there in 1984... Taylor Reservoir Unit. Used to be great. There should be some big rams due to lack of hunting it.

This was on the N end of town at the end of March a couple of years ago.

There were two really, really good rams in this band. They are just below the top and probably a little difficult to find in the pic. This was also spring a couple of years ago.

I thought this one was pretty cool too, Ted. 3 sheep in the background.

Seen a couple bands of sheep last weekend a couple miles east of Cotopaxi. One group of rams had a dandy collared in it standing on side of the road.

Here is a photo Bill took back in 1984 scouting with my Father-in-law in the unit. He gave me an original one year for Christmas.
