Woke up to a 12:40 am email this morning from DWR for my archery deer tag. Unsuccessful for limited entry and OIL. Waiting on rest of family emails to hit.

I drew a general archery deer for a very popular unit. My 13 year old drew the LE Late rifle elk tag (Wasatch). This will be her first elk hunt. Neither of us have ever hunted elk in November. Looking forward to it.

Thank you for the offer. We'll definitely stay in touch and report out no matter how it goes. I put her in for this tag because it best fit all of our calendars. Since she's good at math, she's well aware of the odds it took for the tag!
She also has a youth Any Weapon deer tag so I'm tuning up her bow for archery season.
