WANTED: Connecticut Landowners willing to provide hunting access!
That is $150.00 to $1000 per season when they allow hunters on the property. I wonder what criteria they use to determine the rate of pay?
Now if they would reduce the acreage restriction to ten, and include "open" land to the farm an forested categories, there would be many more properties available for the program.
If you own 50 acres in Connecticut, the amount they offer is a token effort easily blown off by wealthy folk. Nevertheless, it could have some value in offsetting the cost of homeowners insurance for smaller lots.
