My cousin drew a tag for muzzleloading in unit 1 second chocie for deer. He put in for the wrong unit by mistake. Type the wrong numbers. Anybody have any info for unit 1 deer. I read Chris Roe adventure for elk but cannot find anything for deer Thanks

Very tough unit for deer, you may want to have him turn it back in unless he just wants a deer, but even that may be a chore.

why is it tough? not many deer or to much private land or tough terrain. Thanks

Tough in all those NW units with lots of pinon-juniper because the bucks tend to disappear during daylight as soon as they shed velvet. By the time ML season starts the ones that were visible in August are ghosts.

Not many deer to choose from, tough country, long ways from anywhere. But hey he might get lucky!
