Looking to get a new CO map chip for my Garmin and am trying to decide between the Garmin Huntview chip and the onXmaps hunt land ownership chip. I have a Garmin Oregon 750 GPS. Does anyone suggest one over the other?

KHunter, how do you like the onX? What are the pro's / con's?

Look into diyhuntmaps too. The guy lives in Colo and they are very comprehensive and reasonably priced. www.diyhuntingmaps.com

The onx chip is bundled with a subscription I think so you get the app and the chip. Kind of nice.

DIY Hunt maps are my favorite. More comprehensive and detailed and nice if you only want half the state. Who hunts east of Denver anyway? ;)

Yes! That's the link, thanks! There was someone selling a Western Colorado diymaps chip for $25 today on the optics and electronics classified on Archerytalk. (No, it isn't me just happened to notice after reading this thread earlier).

i would just get a subscription on your phone. The phone version is hands down better than what i had on my GPS with the chip. OnX that is.
