Trainee got his first bowkill

The little guy got his 1st deer with a bow yesterday. He got his 1st deer ever last month in firearms season. He was using a parker bow and bear razor heads that his grandad used since the 70's. I've been sidelined with a busted collarbone since the 16th and thankful he's been successful.

Congrats to him. Very nice to see him using a vertical bow. Here in Ohio it seems like all the kids are starting with crossbows.

They have to use bows where we hunt. We don't have a crossbow season.
