Heard some gobbles in the distance this morning. Any one hearing or seeing any strutting?

I was at my place in 6K this weekend. Still snow on the ground but nothing like usual. Still pretty early for gobbling up north.

Turkey hunting has been excellent up there in the past but typically they don’t show up until early April and gobbling around tax day.

Had a flock of 22 in my backyard yesterday. 3 long beards and one strutter. 7M

2 Tom's were at my birdfeeder this am, they got real edgy and all of a sudden 2 more Tom's and a good size Jake come in and start kickn butt... whoa was that something to witness! The 2 original birds beat feet and retreated, feathers ruffled along with their ego's... the victor's own the feeder at present and now gathered a harem of 13 hens.

It won't be long till these fellas go after eachother.... I love Spring!
