Does anybody happen to know if float-tubes are at all considered to be “watercraft” in this state? Or would that be a town-by-town thing?
Town waterfront here requires a Marine Use Permit to launch a kayak into the Sound, but I don’t know what the rules are on paddleboards, windsurfers, or the lowly bellyboat…. And I’m not sure I’m prepared to shell out for a permit for one… But it seems like a good option for the mudflats and weedlines now that we have all this bait around….
