Well, we finally got together at the Keefer farm to get stands and blinds ready for the season. Friday we tightened up ratchet straps and re-hung life-lines and also trimmed shooting lanes on 8 or 9 ladderstands.
I look forward to the pre-season prep now almost as much as the hunting!

Saturday morning Art showed us the latest trailcam pics and later in the day he and Chise put up a couple blinds and the last of the life-lines.

Saturday evening I sat up on the hill and watched deer come out into the big field. It’s always fun to see if we can identify the bucks that come out, from their trailcam pics.
A couple doe came out at first, then this buck was unmistakable! (even withOUT binoculars ;-)

Got a couple more stands done this week. It took longer by myself. I was packing today for the 5-c trip. Chise will be here after dinner and we will hit it again Saturday.
