It time to get serious

With this cold front moving through, it's lit the fuse. This coming week, colder temperatures and the moon coming out of full should be some older bucks on their feet. Cameras are pretty active today are you all seeing more movement?

Saw a couple does being chased by a tall 6 at a trot near Paxico, Ks

Buddy of mine got a nice 8 point this morning, in west central Ks. Said he never saw it till impact and it did considerable damage to his truck.

My cameras had alot of activity overnight. Alot of deer I hadnt seen this year showed up

I had a big mature 10 pointer walk by with about 10 minutes of shooting light left last night. Heavy rack with long tines. About 18 inches wide and didn't have the brow tines I like to see or I would have shot him. 5 year old deer I would guess. I may regret it later but I would just soon see them survive as to just be filling a tag. I have some telephone pole size rubs on the property that I think another deer has made.
