just had a buck show up a few days ago that I officially named B87 for obvious reasons, well the first time he dayli d of course I was at work. I hit the woods very early this morning and was on stand by 5:00. I had a perfect wind for this stand and temps were perfect. I sat and waited daylight came and no deer sightings, I sat at 8:00am thoughy 11/11 I know there are bucks in the area and I can’t wait even get a spike to come by to pay a visit.. ???? well I barely had time to get that thought out of my head and I hear that distinctive sound of leaves crunching and a deer approaching from the east. The deer finally comes into view and immediately I recognize who it is. B87! he takes the trail in front of me and I take a perfect quartering away shot at 12 yds. I watch him run and about 60 yds out he gets the “ole’ wobbly knees” and tips over. now to fond out more info on the ear tags. maybe not my biggest but definitely a truly unique buck.
