Well, I made the trip home to visit my family for Thanksgiving after moving to Montana in September and I knew I had to fly my bow home. After getting skunked this morning, I was fortunate to have this guy walk by around 3:45. I drew back on him at 40 yards hoping he’d walk through an opening, he did not. Instead he turned and walked straight at my tree. Eventually he turned at 15 yards. I wrapped my thumb around the thumb barrel on my release and started to pull. The shot broke perfectly and I watched my arrow hit him right where my pin was. He made it 60 yards to edge of the hillside before he started staggering and eventually crashing down. I am feeling super fortunate to have had this opportunity.

Bill, I was probably at full draw for at least a minute. He wasn’t necessarily walking that fast. Good thing my RX7 Ultra has a rock solid back wall. Sooooo yeah “eventually” lol
