Haven't even been out hunting yet this year. Rut starts here in late Dec and runs into January. I will get out a few times then but will be carrying a rifle. I did get out fishing yesterday and caught 3 reds over the slot limit so 2 went back in. We also got a few slot reds, some sheepshead and a few really big Black drum (25 pounds and up). The big black Drums were also released as they get wormy when they get that size.
