I have a buddy that hunts near the place where this buck was found dead in mid-Nov. The farmer that found the buck texted him these pics that show all angles. My buddy didn’t know the buck even existed and never had pics of him on his traillcam’s.

Heck of a buck for sure.

A true mystery buck. They do exist. My father-in-law found an 88” drop antler near a feed bunk last spring; none of us ever saw, nor have since seen the buck.

Don't tell anyone it is in Kansas.

Putting it on the KS forum helps keep a few eyes off it Dave.

Wow I'm surprised he ran that far! Thanks I'll be over in a day or two to grab it. Tough critters!

Nice buck, shame he died that way and not from a well placed arrow.

If I found that on my land, the only people that would be seeing it were those that stopped by the house. I do not see the point in showing off a found dead deer rack like it's trophy, it's not unless you legally shot it.

Same area. 190". Had 13 score able points on one side and 11 on the other. Bases were over 7". The guy that found it has cameras and a feeder on his 160 acres and had never seen it and neither had I. Pretty interesting bucks this big can reside in a part of the county with not much habitat, deer stands every quarter mile, and houses on every corner.

It's just a shame that deer hunting in Kansas has gotten so bad. Remember when you could see deer like that everywhere.

Started bowhunting 1978, not as many deer as now but you would see tremendous bucks every year and more than just one. There was no feeders and box blinds or game cams every where you look and a person could still get permission by asking or helping out. For those that still want to actually hunt deer it is almost impossible with all the feeders and corn piles moving the deer to ground they would not travel to without all the corn . And leaving the natural place they would be and travel.

Ban the bait. Everyone for a ban should stop using it too. Let em travel naturally.
