NO LAND FOR THE TIMID was a book and a DVD. Nice find there Groundhunter.

A very interesting presentation by a WI bowhunting legend who ranks right up there with Case, Whiffen. Wilke, Leopold and a limited number of others. Art Laha was inducted into the WI Bowhunting Hall Of Fame in 2016.

Good guy. Attended Art's live seminars and frequently visited the Bear Bar. Art got me fired up to make multiple trips to Alaska.

Strange Find,,,,,, Well back in the 90's I was archery elk hunting in unit 421 at about 9000 ft , aprox. 6 miles from any road and I came upon a high lift trk jack. The one that's about 4 ft long. I packed it for about 100 yds and thought this just isn't worth it. It may be there to this day. The only thing we could think of how it got there was the fact there were oil stations in the area with a lot of helicopters flying to them and it fell of a helicopter.

The autobiography of At LaHa, is a good read. The story of a self-made man who literally lifted himself up from dire poverty.
