NE CPW Sportsperson Caucus Meeting

Date: Feb. 15th, from 6 pm - 8 -pm. The Location: Weld County Southwest Service Center, 4209 County Road 24 1/2 in Longmont, near I-25 and Highway 119. Please join CPW staff and fellow hunters and anglers in discussing important topics such as the Draw Working Group, the East Slope Mountain Lion Plan, water in the Northeast Region, wolves, waterfowl, and fisheries. ELECT A CAUCUS DELEGATE. Each region of the state is represented by two caucus delegates who bring issues and ideas forward to the CPW director and other leadership at the Sportspersons Roundtable. Elections will be held to fill one of the seats in the NE Region. Please use the QR code below to apply to run. CAN’T MAKE IT TO THE MEETING? Please use the QR code to sign up to participate in the NE Caucus. You will receive presentations and information that will be shared at the caucus meeting, be given the opportunity to submit questions and share concerns, be provided with a recap of the meeting, and be allowed to vote for the caucus delegate. COME EARLY AND LEARN HOW TO CALL A TURKEY! A turkey calling seminar will be offered at 5:30 p.m., before the meeting; all are welcome to attend.

So far, Three sportspersons have signed up to fill the one vacant NE Caucus rep position.

Who are the new NE reps?

only one new NE Caucus Sportsperson Delegate needed to be appointed ie, Ryan Sweeney for a 2 year term. A year from now, another delegate will be appointed as the current delegate, Brian Soliday with be termed out.
